@MahGol: Hello. Thanks for the visit and the comment.
A dream : to be alone in a museum. Great perspective ! Wide angle ?

@zOOm: Thanks for visiting, Zoom. As to the lens, yes. My favorite is my 10-20mm by Sigma. I also enjoy the shallow depth of field of a 1.8/f 50mm so I will be exploring a balance between the two worlds soon. More glass, though, means more money.
Another inspirational shot by Luis A. De Jesus R. !

@zOOm: zOOm, we have good taste for lenses I guess :) Why do you use the lenses that you do have? Of those that you do have, which is your favorite?
A wonderful image full of atmosphere. I love the reflections, you do black and white so well!

@Margie: BW is my favorite, but I also wish to explore color more than I have. Thanks for the visit and comment.
A very well thought out shot with the reflections and the position of the lonely spectator.

Wow. You can even see the haze on the floor created by the tracklights. Great job.

@johnnyanne: Johnnyanne, Thanks for the visit. A big thanks for comment as well.
To answer your question, I like close-ups more than anything, so that's why I often macro lenses such as a sigma 150 mm 2.8... but I also use my canon 70/300 mm for animals... my wide angle is mainly for architectural pictures... I scarcely do portraits (humans beeings do not interest me in photography)...

@zOOm: zOOm, thanks for the reply. I am considering such zoom lenses, but I feel I still need to perfect the use of the ones I already have. I´m experimenting on getting as close as possible to people in my street photography with the wide. When it comes to raw, candid work it gets very difficult. More than shy I am very --perhaps overly-- cautious about offending or scaring people. Mexico City is a very unsafe place and people have the tendency to mistrust. Journalist are not well seen in Mexico and the camera I use most of the time is a huge SLR. I am looking into a film rangefinder or a solid all-purpose high-res compact for street: the canon G9 or Sigma's new 14 megapixel compact seem like two worth trying.
i love the portrayal of space here -- just magnificent and expansive... beautiful light scenarios too... marvelous!
