I could not help recalling an old --but very well-known-- Salsa song titled "Pedro Navaja" that narrates the life and death of an infamous Latino pimp on the streets of New York. True, the photo was taken here in Mexico city, but the scene illustrates how people across cultures are more similar than they are different.
