Photographers' Lounge

Posted by Luis A. De Jesus R. (Mexico City, Mexico) on 10 July 2008 in People & Portrait.

These two men make a living from photographing people on the streets. They go especially after tourists from the rural parts of the country and do make some money, but times have changed with the advent of digital photography. Sad to see they are the last of their kind. It hurts even more watching them trying to make ends meet. No pension funds and retirement in the Bahamas for these men, just that pain in the lower back that seems only to worsen by the day.
