What a wonderful image, Luis! It could be interpreted in so many ways. There is a rich story in this image. I sense agony and tears. But it could be just a peaceful nap while waiting for customers. And the colors are very balanced with the beautiful warm red. Love it!!!

@Nataly: It's amazing how you can sleep and still live in misery. Sleep helps us forget our problems. This man was most probably just very tired. However, his life is hard. Thanks for the comments!
Strong image, great capture but maybe better in b&w

@photaouf: I appreciate the visit and critique, sincerely; however, I did consider BW but much detail got lost in such a conversion. I wanted some attention on the shoe-shine chair to provide context. Otherwise, it became a lame photo of a sleeping man. In my mind I contrast the sleeping man working hard all day to someone equal in age but better off financially and even socially. Others his age are enjoying their life of retirement, this one will most probably work until his death or until his work does him in.
J'aime beaucoup ton sytle...il se dégage quelque chose de fort de tes photos.
Ici egalement, meme si le cadrage a quelques défauts comme des elements coupés (la chaise par ex) mais ca ne joue pas sur le sentiment que l'on ressent !
