I agree with badlydrawnboy's comment. intriguing shot. wonder what's on that hill in the distance. the title makes me wonder is this person on some sort of religious quest. what is she seeking. or what is she tolerating?

@danthro: Friend, believe it or not that hill in the distance is a pyramid --Pyramid of the Sun to be exact-- at Teotihuacan, Mexico. Google it to get a better picture.

I don't like to get into texts in order to justify the image. If the image cannot stand on it's own then I failed in some form or manner to captivate the viewer. Anyhow, the title points to the fact that the woman walking is a nun. The site was once the center of a civilization that the religion of the nun despised and did everything in its power to destroy. I won't argue if was for the better or worse, but seeing her there to admire the construction of these ancient peoples was --to some extant in mind-- a severe contradiction.

@Maricusa: Muy gentil y amable de tu parte. La verdad que a uno le da miedo hasta postear imagenes porque uno piensa en "el que dirán" pero al fin estoy haciendo algo que me agrada y esto debe ser el principio y el fin. Total, no vivo de esto --Gracias a Dios!
