City Police - Centro Historico, Mexico City

This took a nasty turn of events seconds after the photo. The police demanded I erase the image and got a bit aggravated by having their picture taken during an unauthorized break while they should had been on patrol. I charmed myself out of the situation and convinced them that I had erased the picture when in fact it was still on the SD card. So now you know who not to shoot at while in Mexico City.

i like their relaxed posed. men in uniform juxtaposed w graffiti. lol, the middle cop's pose is relax but his eyes are looking straight at u..... getting worried/touchy

@Em!ly Ng: It was the guy in the middle who protested to being photographed after I snapped away. It's the last time I do this. Next time it will be at some public event or a more relaxed setting. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!

I like the contrast between the relaxed pose but strained expression on the middle guy. It was worth the hassle...but not if it had ended differently!

This is great...I love all the grey/white/black and the spic and span uniforms against the graffiti. Really great contrast and well spotted. I'm so glad you managed to charm your way out of a tricky situation!

It was worth the sweet-talking: great shot! I hear from the papers over here in England that crime is on the up in Mexico, so maybe they shouldn't be standing around whilst on duty ;-)
