China Girl -- Donceles (China Town), Mexico City

This was taken at the Chinese New Year festivities early this year. Yes, a cliché indeed, but I can´t help it: hard to believe this was not taken yesterday. 2008 flew and is gone. I turned 40 yesterday and I wonder if 2009 will be the year of the infamous mid-life crises, but I am keeping my chin up --what else can I do?

Just want to take a moment and thank all of you who took a snippet out of eternity to visit my blog and share. I feel bad for falling out of touch with some of you, but it's been a hard 2008 with some problems surging towards the end of the year, which I hope to clear up in January immediately.

I wish each and everyone one --those who have visited and not-- the best in 2009. May it be a year in which we all focus on those things that matter most to make this home of ours a better place. Cheers!!
