Avenida - Eje Central Lazaro Carenas, Mexico City

Posted by Luis A. De Jesus R. (Mexico City, Mexico) on 3 February 2009 in Cityscape & Urban.

Decided to go for a break from the sky-high view. Don't get me wrong, Mexico City is not all grime, smog, and dirt, and, crime, and...

There is plenty of beauty in Mexico City, but I am personally drawn to the old and forgotten. If you listen close enough, you can hear the voices from the past and learn how the more things change the more they stay the same. I can imagine people walking in and out of abandoned rooms, entering and exiting broken and busted doors...I guess you've caught my drift by now.
