An old barn door - Upstate, New York

I had not seen my younger brother --Marvin-- in over four years. Knowing my love for the countryside, rural areas, farms, and New York state´s national parks, he took me to several spots that for one reason or another I had never visited in the years of upbringing in the aforementioned state. My parents now live in Dutchess County, I was born and raised in Westchester County bordering New York City. So many people come to New York and are fascinated with the city, but I was always more drawn to the beauty and landscapes north of the Big Apple. Plenty, yes plenty of fresh air too.
