The Doors (Poughkeepsie Train Station) - New York

@Nataly: Thanks for your visit and thoughts, Nataly. I did consider color, but this is the express train of the Hudson Line belonging to MetroNorth. What you mention might have worked better with the local, which cars are indeed --from observation-- a bit shinier. Even the New York City Subway cars are much brighter than the aforementioned. The express train was taken from Poughkeepsie to Grand Central Terminal the day I took this shot. My father retired from MetroNorth after 30 years as a sheet-metal worker, so I rode for free. I guess my father working at MetronNorth and my proximity to them from childhood explains my love for this form of transportation. It is perhaps one of the things I miss most about New York.

@Nataly: Hello, Nataly. No need to apologize --I appreciate your critique. Yes, a railroad series would had been great. My father still has quite a few friends working so that possibility is always there; as long as I get back to New York before any of them retire as well :( And about the time on his hands: there are moments in which he does wish he had stuck around a bit longer.
