Headed Home - Grand Central Terminal, New YorkPosted by Luis A. De Jesus R. (Mexico City, Mexico) on 3 July 2009 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio. Another from the archives of my April trip home. For most commuters from the New York City suburbs, this is the first and last site they see when they enter and depart. It was for me on the days I decided not hassle with the 45-minute drive from Ossining vìa the Hudson River Parkway to West 50th. For those familiar with Brian De Palma's "Carlito's Way", this area (including other parts of Grand Central Terminal) was were the last scenes of the movie took place. It was on one of these platforms that Benny Blanco (played by John Leguizamo) kills Charlie Brigante (Al Pacino). By the way, sorry for the artefacts in the photo. When I have the money to spare I am going to purchase a pro account here.
