@marc battault: I thought going black and white, but there was too much going on for that. The mix of old and very old in the downtown area is impressive and fun to photograph --when one can do so safely. Thanks for the five stars, Marc! Amistad!

@dj.tigersprout: Sorry for delayed reply. I have been busy setting up my new photoblog at wordpress on my free time. Anyhow, this is not HDR. I simply pushed curves to increase contrast and since sharpening is all about luminosity, I pushed it 50% and 50 radius with 0 threshold, but in LAB. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

@joshi daniel: I love this sort of grittiness and wish I could get out to shoot more of it. But it's in the more dangerous parts of the city and carrying a camera around these days is quite risky.

@romine: This construction goes way back to the Spanish conquest and is situated behind the equivalent to Mexico's presidential White House. There is a lot of history here.

@Gonzata: Perdon por la demora en responder....no es HDR. Trabajo mucho en LAB para manipular la luminosidad sin afectar la intensidad de color. Gracias, saludos!
